Researcher profile

About

My work brings together trustworthy AI, multimodal learning, speech forensics, and scientific applications.

I am an AI researcher working across trustworthy clinical language systems, multimodal representation learning, synthetic-media forensics, agricultural intelligence, and scientific machine learning. As a Research Assistant at Nanyang Technological University, I develop and evaluate privacy-preserving clinical LLM workflows; through AI4A Lab, I connect research questions to public datasets, codebases, and applications.

My experience spans research roles at NTU, AI4A Lab, Ulster University, Manipal University Jaipur, NIT Jalandhar, and ULPGC. I value careful evaluation, reproducible artifacts, and collaborations that make advanced methods useful in practice.

Chronology

Experience

  1. Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore

    Research Assistant

    Current role

    Advisor: Dr. Si Yong Yeo

Developed HERALD, a client-side cryptographic redaction framework for clinical LLM deployment. Evaluated selective token protection on clinical workloads and studied privacy–utility implications for cloud and API-assisted clinical NLP workflows.

  2. AI4A Lab, India

    Member; Project Lead (June 2024–present)

    Current role

Lead undergraduate research collaborations and open artifacts across accessibility, education, speech forensics, agriculture, healthcare privacy, and thermophysical-property prediction. Public lab site: ai4a-lab.github.io.

  3. Ulster University, United Kingdom

    Research Intern

    Advisor: Dr. Muskaan Singh

Contributed to synthetic-speech attribution, open-set detection, and cross-paradigm audio deepfake detection using speech foundation models and geometry-aware representation learning. This work led to IJCNLP-AACL 2025 and EACL 2026 publications.

  4. Manipal University Jaipur, India

    Project Lead

    Advisor: Prof. Sandeep Chaurasia

Led the grant-supported multimodal interview-assessment project, including RecruitView data collection, annotation infrastructure, and CRMF modelling.

  5. National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jalandhar, India

    Research Intern

    Advisor: Dr. Rajesh Singla

Studied machine-learning methods for brain–computer interface systems, including neural-signal acquisition, preprocessing, and real-time adaptive-feedback workflows for medical applications.

  6. Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC), Spain

    Research Assistant

    Advisor: Prof. Carlos M. Travieso-González

Developed computer-vision models for geological image classification over 950 images and 19 rock types, using transfer learning and k-fold validation. The resulting framework achieved more than 98% top-1 accuracy.
